San Francisco Art Institute along with CCA, Mills College, St. Mary's College and Dominican University began in 2014 to unionize adjunct faculty with SEIU 1021. This is part of a national trend to pushback against the increasing moves to destroy teaching as a profession. This poster marked the beginning of the San Francisco Poster Syndicate which has expanded to include other faculty, students and alumni of SFAI.
